<p class="MsoNormal" style="margin-bottom:10.0pt;line-height:115%"><span lang="EN-GB">The ICANN NomCom delegates and leadership team met at ICANN 65 in Marrakesh, Morocco to interview, further evaluate and select candidates from the 2<sup>nd</sup> intercessional
short-list. This is a continuation of the candidate selection phase in the NomCom process. Selections for the most qualified candidates was completed for these 10 open seats: 3 seats for the ICANN board, 1 seat for the PTI board, 3 seats for each of these
ALAC regions: Africa, LAC and Asia, 1 seat for ccNSO and 2 seats for the GNSO. </span>
<span lang="EN-GB">New selectees will officially assume their roles in Montreal at ICANN 66 Annual General Meeting (AGM) but announcements should come out in late August or early September. </span><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:11.0pt;line-height:115%;font-family:"Calibri",sans-serif"><o:p></o:p></span></p>
