Thank you very much for your votes and support. I am excited for this new chapter and am aware of the responsibility it includes. I greatly appreciate the trust shown in my ability to handle it. Hence, I am strongly motivated to make my contribution to this community meaningful. At the same time, I count on opportunities to learn a lot from you as highly experienced and committed members.

I fully support female leaders, not question but we should consider some balance that we get the best of the 2 worlds (maybe 3). Every sex has its weaknesses and strengths in leadership, please do not forget that. In the very end, it should become irrelevant but a factor of finding the most appropriate candidate.

The bad news is that we have also great expectations from newly elected leaders 😉

Dear Frédéric,
While it is a good thing to have new people in the leadership team, this does not mean that the more experienced people do not have a role to play. I am myself not in a leadership position, but still thinking that my contribution is important because the leaders can do nothing if there is not a great support by the whole community.

Thanks to staff for having run the elections, and thanks to all who have voted.
I do not have the actual figures i my head, but my impression is that the 20 voters - even adding the 2 abstentions - are not a brilliant result in terms of participation. I am aware that this non-voting is an issue that pervades society at large - we are likely to see this at the upcoming European elections - but in a relatively small, and supposedly motivated, community like ours it is a dangerous sign. And it links to my observation above to the community supporting the leaders.
