I believe that Stéphane had an excellent idea.
I would like to add that EURALO provides an entry path to newcomers, that could join the EURALO Individual Users Association as individuals in case they do not belong to an At-Large Structure or while waiting for the process of certification of their organization as ALS.
In this respect, I would also add that at our AGM we (the EURALO Individual Users Association) have started an internal discussion to explore options for outreach. Maybe if a point of contact is established, we could work in coordination with the appointed officer.
Best regards,
Roberto

Dear Stéphane,

Thanks. Totally in agreement with you. Definitely needed a first point of contact & PR person for people considering joining At-Large.
Kindest regards,

Olivier

Re: Outreach - yes that's a good point, as we already have a proposal for someone to do inreach. Should it be a different person for outreach?
Kindest regards

I think so, yes. My suggestion was outreach outside of the traditional at large community, so other ICANN groups and wider. My rationale being that there are more people out there who simply do not know about at large, or understand what it does… and there are many people who simply have the wrong (usually negative) ideas about at large.

So a kind of PR officer if you will ;)
