[EURO-Discuss] WG: EURALO upcoming Elections -- NomCom delegate

Dear all,

as announced some days ago, we have to select and nominate a EURALO delegate for the NomCom who will be finally confirmed by ALAC.

Our last representative, Yrjö Länsipuro, who has done an excellent job at the NomCom the last two years, is unfortunately not eligible for a 3rd term (without a break) any more. According to the narrow time table below, we need to nominate new candidates for this challenging function. The candidate/s need not necessarily represent one of our ALSes but can be an individual member of EURALO. 

Let me open this process and suggest Veronica Cretu, Moldavia, who has been one of our ALAC members some years ago and expressed interest to continue her work with EURALO. More suggestions are welcome. As I count with further nominations until the end of the deadline (see below), we need to conduct a voting between 16-23 August 2012 to forward our regional delegate to ALAC.
