[EURO-Discuss] Urgent: Announcement of EURALO Election Calls

Dear all,

as mentioned last week, there are several Election Calls for our region to be assumed during the next weeks with very short deadlines:

* an ALAC representative (after the expiration of the one-year-term of Patrick Vande Walle). After Patrick's excellent job representing EURALO at ALAC and the commitment he proved in many respects, I would like to nominate him again for a subsequent ALAC period and would appreciate your nomination support and Partick's nomination approval.

* furthermore, we need nominations for a (European) NomCom delegate.

The suggested process of elections and information specific to EURALO are available on the following wiki: https://st.icann.org/euralo/index.cgi?2009_election_calls_euralo (which is under announcements on the main EURALO wiki: https://st.icann.org/euralo/index.cgi. Please feel free to add any more suggestions regarding suitable candidates.

Please be aware that we have to notify At-Large staff of the process EURALO will use for the election process by 15 August -- this means by the end of this week!

EURALO participants may nominate people, or self-nominate, either by using the comment button on the wiki or using the EURALO lists.

Regarding the other election calls for board liaison, other liaisons, NomCom positions and ALAC officers, a central election call wiki will be announced tomorrow.
