[EURO-Discuss] Important: Resigning from ALAC Position at ICANN

Dear Veronica,
I must admit this message brings me to a kind of conflicting feelings - at a late stage of the evening:
My first reaction was “No, please, don’t do this – there is so much challenge ahead and we need personalities and commitments like you proofed it for our work at ALAC and EURALO – and especially for our outreach, contacts and further activities in Eastern Europe ....”.
My second reaction was “Congratulations, brilliant people make and follow their way and you must take the next step. It really sound like a big project and you need all of your energy for it. You have to do it and all our best wishes will be with you ...”.
There is still some hope that we keep in touch – and you will remain a EURALO member, not in a pro-active way any more – unfortunately – but a member at least. We will miss you (already) and may dare to contact you when your advice is needed.
Good luck for your promising future and we wish you all the best!
