Dear Chapter Leaders:

On behalf of the Internet Society Elections Committee, I wish to extend my appreciation and thanks to all of the candidates for the Board of Trustees elections. We are honored that so many qualified individuals offered to serve on the board. Voting closed on Friday and the election results were certified today, in accordance with the elections timetable.

In accordance with the Procedures for Selecting Trustees <https://www.internetsociety.org/about-internet-society/governance-policies/procedures-selecting-trustees/> , Publication of the Result, Maureen Hilyard received 44 votes.

In addition, the Procedures for Selecting Trustees <https://www.internetsociety.org/about-internet-society/governance-policies/procedures-selecting-trustees/> state that, “ISOC will make available a list of all Chapters eligible to vote in an election, indicating which Chapters exercised their voting privilege.” I am pleased to share that list with you (attached to this email).

Please join me in congratulating the successful candidates and thanking all who ran. I also wish to thank all voters, members of the Elections Committee, and ISOC staff who supported the elections process.

Election challenges may be lodged between now and 15:00 UTC on 15 April by email to the Internet Society President Andrew Sullivan at the address election-challenge at isoc.org. Any such challenges must include an explanation of the reasons for the challenge. The President, after consultation with the chairs of the Nominations and Elections Committees and the members of the Board of Trustees, shall advise the challenge author of the board's decision by 22 April.

Again, thanks to all who participated in the 2024 Board of Trustees elections.
