I appreciate this comment. More than a year ago, I recall a handful of people, myself included, raising concerns of this kind, and we were basically laughed at or derided as standing in the way of progress. Especially from the people wearing the "I (Heart) New gTLDs" buttons.

By the way, I don't know what a DAG2 is.
