I do not seek to blame anything on anyone actually.

For your information, at the request of the committee, the staff plotted out the amount of time it would take to have a completely bottom-up based policy advice development timeline. That takes 11-12 weeks. Anything less means that some portion of the ability of the community is truncated.

There have been several requests for input recently on very short timeframes. That statement was accurate.

This is a subject on the ALAC's agenda for Cairo.

Chuck Gomes put forth the motion calling for constituent input on the topic in his note to Council dated 27 August.  That motion was adopted by the GNSO Council at their session on 4 September.  A month later the ALAC finally brings this matter to the attention of the at-large community...

You can't blame this one on an aggressive Council schedule.
