Derek, Jacque and all,
This is a very good report. Our independant survey indicated
that there were over 68k DN's used for phishing purposes in 2007
all of which DNS were mis-configured. We were a bit more exact
in whom the top 10 phishers were. The top 5 are as follows:
Yahoo.com, Gmail.com, googlemail.com, mac.com, yahoo.co.uk,
google.com, live.com, live.ru, ATT.net, and wikipedia.com.
Currently most of our members are blocking/filtering these
DN's and their associated IP addresses, and will continue to
do so until or unless those whom are responsible for these
phishiers and their Sr. managment are prosecuted to the
fullist extent of the law.
