The problem is that the average user doesn't really know about WHOIS or 
what it contains or how it can be abused.

We, as internet professionals, owe a duty of care to our clients.

The current "status quo" with gTLDs does not work in anyone's favour be 
they private individuals, law enforcement or intellectual property 
rights people
