Why are you making a general statement about a specific observation?

I've said it before, and I'll say it again - I think you'll find it  
much easier to get results if you make specific statements about  
specific observations because it allows more people to come to your  
assistance. Generalizations have a tendency to polarize the discussion  
and I don't think that it will lead to anything remotely reasonable in  
terms of true output.
