[At-Large] ALAC Positions open for nominations 2007-2008

Also, the same "discrimination" that is seeked for ALAC is not applied in
other parts of the organization. Although the NomCom members in the Name
Council are only 1/7 of the total, the current Chairperson is one of them.
For the ICANN Board, both Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson are NomCom
appointees.

Of course, the participation of the ALSes has to be promoted also allowing
their representatives to be appointed to leadership positions in ALAC, but I
would be sincerely worried if we make this a rule, or even a practice.
