[At-Large] ccNSO liaison report

Dear All,
The following is my report based on the recent telephone session. There
will be another telephone conference before LA Meeting which I will also
report on. That will be my last report as I'm not a candidate for the
liaison position after my ALAC term is up at the end of LA Meeting.
Here are the main points:
1. Work got underway for the Issues Report to start a PDP for cc IDNs.
2. A letter was sent out by ccNSO Chair to ccTLD managers to get an
estimate of interest and preparation in starting a fast-track approach for
starting a limited number of IDN cc's. Presumably a simultaneous letter
went out from GAC Chair to GAC reps for the same purpose.
3.The charter of a WG was established with the ultimate goal of attracting
more ccTLDs to ccNSO membership. In the first phase some research will be
done.
4. A ccTLD Comunity List will be started soon.
5. A replacement is sought in North America region for Bernie Turcott of
Canada who resigned ccNSO.
