[At-Large] [Fwd: Request for staff research: registrar fees and practices]

I will send the request on and see about the feasibility of this.
Needless to say, conducting this survey would be a substantial
undertaking considering the size of the registrar marketplace.
This is not by way of discouraging you or anyone else; I just want to
make sure that this is not something that can be done overnight; it
might require additional consulting or other resources, and this close
to the end of the budget year that might be complex. There's no way
that the At-Large budget or staff could undertake it, but then, this
would it seems to me be something of interest to many other
constituencies in any case, so it is likely that would not be asked of
us in any case.
May I suggest in the first instance that ALAC discuss this and
formally resolve on the question.
