I agree, but I'm not sure about the "lease" from the legal POW.
The legal nature is still obscure in Brazil (intellectual property?
cession/right of use?), with some push to the trademarks from corporate
lawyers and IP agents.

Seems to me that domains are property which is leasehold, ie if the owner
fails to pay the lease (registration fee) they lose their lease.
