Hi all,

I thought it might be useful to share the Global Digital Compact zero draft
released on Monday (April 1st - do read the document and decide whether the
date is coincidental or not ;):
https://www.un.org/techenvoy/sites/www.un.org.techenvoy/files/Global_Digital_Compact_Zero_Draft.pdf

As you are well aware, the Global Digital Compact aims to address
contemporary challenges, including the potential for misuse and the
exacerbation of existing inequalities. by promoting an inclusive, open,
safe, and secure digital future for all. The zero draft outlines the
objectives, commitments, and actions necessary to achieve this goal. It
builds upon the principles of the United Nations Charter and international
law, providing a strong foundation for digital cooperation.

A good summary can be found here:

.

Thanks for reading, have a great rest of the week!
