That was only incidental to what I found in my research.

What gave me pause was realizing how much the GAC vis a vis IGO name
protection and everyone else seemed to be talking past each other.

Trying to swim upstream against an international treaty signed by 173
countries seems, well, quixotic. And perhaps not even justified no
matter what one's personal feelings are on the issue.

At some point one has to consider yielding to the facts, or at least
dealing with the facts.

I tend to agree with this last point though how to do that doesn't
leap out.
