The  GIGA trademark is indeed owned by an Institute concerned with Global
Internet Governance & Advocacy under the direction of our friend Dr. V.C.
Vivekanandan  at NALSAR, the University of Law in Hyderabad.

Vivek served a term on the ALAC in about 2010.

JJS, Hong Xue and I were honoured by GIGA's invitation to participate in
their annual conference in 2012.....I think.
