ore trainings to the outer islands that face far more challenges.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:13px"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:13px"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial"> Some of the 22 facilitators are also through KBC-Elevate being trained under the Australian My Connect Program where 10 of them are being trained in technical training.</span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:13px"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial"><br></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:13px"><span lang="EN-GB" style="font-size:10pt;font-family:Arial">Given that Vanuatu has won the bid to host the Asia Pacific Regional IGF.  <i>[The facilitators were from the C-WBN and the KCN in Vanuatu whom we had collaborated with in 2013 to submit strategies for development of ICT when the country through the Prime Minister&#39;s Office had opened call for input in the Region. ]</i></span></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:13px"><br></p><p class="MsoNormal" style="font-size:13px">We have noticed that in 2017 through actual case studies that were analyzed within the Youth IGF, there is still a need for enhanced coordination amongst the diverse stakeholders. We have yet to release a paper on the outcomes as this will be going to the diverse stakeholders in Oceania and for case studies analyzed, countries concerned.</p><p class="m_-8099360695499227616gmail-m_-3171364060588639450m_-5275322230066550781gmail-m_2512189537145923028gmail-m_2230388870123234837gmail-MsoListParagraph" style="font-size:13px"><span lang="EN-GB">Over the years, some of the things we have done are as follows:</span></p><p class="m_-8099360695499227616gmail-m_-3171364060588639450m_-5275322230066550781gmail-m_2512189537145923028gmail-m_2230388870123234837gmail-MsoListParagraph" style="font-size:13px"></p><ul style="font-size:13px"><li style="margin-left:15px"><a href="https://vimeo.com/56494215" target="_blank">Youth Tech Camp</a> - internet governance and mobile app development training in the Pacific [youngest was 10 and oldest was 60]</li><li style="margin-left:15px"><a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qWAPf5JBZdA" target="_blank">Girls and Women in ICT</a> - working with secondary schools in Suva </li><li style="margin-left:15px">Fishackathons - with the US Embassy [ high school students and teachers]</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Innovation workshops where we have worked with key regional organizations to run training and capacity building to solve development problems in Health, Commerce, etc; These involved these organizations helping us design the problem sets;</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Trainings for schools and students etc.</li><li style="margin-left:15px">Launched the Pacific Digital Alliance for Girls and Women in ICT [ girls and women in ICT]</li></ul><span class="m_-8099360695499227616gmail-HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><span class="m_-8099360695499227616gmail-m_-3171364060588639450HOEnZb"><font color="#888888"><div><br></div></font></span></font></span></div></div></div></div>Kind Regards</div>
