<p dir="ltr">Actually Kaili, it would be a very good idea to at least put the proposal to them. We could get a very good team, even from within ICANN, to support a SIG as Satish has done for his IndiaSIG.</p>

<div>Dear all<br>We are pleased to announce the first India School on Internet
Governance (inSIG), scheduled during 31 Oct - 2 Nov 2016 at Hyderabad,
Telangana State, India. This is just prior to the ICANN57 meeting at
Hyderabad, which is scheduled for 3-9 Nov 2016. <br><br>inSIG, jointly
organized by two APRALO ALSes (ISOC-TRV and ISOC-Delhi), is supported by
NIXI/Govt of India, ICANN, ISOC and the Asia-Pacific School on Internet
Governance (APSIG). The venue for inSIG is the Indian Institute of Information
Technology, Hyderabad (IIIT-H).<br><br>More details of the program are
available at the inSIG webite (<a href="http://insig.in" target="_blank">http://insig.in</a>).
Registration in both the general and fellowship categories will start from 15
August 2016. Apart from the 25 seats meant for participants from India, a few
seats are also open to participants from other countries in the region,
particularly those who are planning to travel to India to attend ICANN57.
