[APAC-Discuss] APAC DNS Forum starts next week

Dear all,

Our virtual inaugural APAC DNS Forum starts next week! There are a few sessions that may be of interest to you and your wider community. Would be great if you can join us, and would also be grateful if you can help to spread the news and encourage your network to join please.

All the session details are on apacdnsforum.my<about:blankapacdnsforum.my>; grateful if you can give it a look and block your calendars for the sessions that interest you. Do register - once you’ve registered, joining instructions for the sessions will open next week via a virtual portal on the website.

A few topics of interest include:

  *   Future of the DNS (30 March) (flyer attached)
     *   This session will feature high profile speakers like ICANN CEO Göran Marby, APNIC Chief Scientist Geoff Huston, and Donuts Chief Strategy Officer Ram Mohan.
     *   The speakers will share their vision of the DNS’ future, discuss (and debate) on the challenges and opportunities.
  *   Being a Registrant – Things to Note (31 March)
     *   Besides providing useful information on a registrants’ responsibilities and rights, this session also features ICANN Chief Innovation and Information Officer Ashwin Rangan who will talk about cyber hygiene which is relevant for everyone!
  *   DNS abuse
     *   This is an important topic to the At-Large community. There will be two key sessions that will explore how the regional community can collaborate in this area:
        *   Establishing a Fast Track Mechanism of Trusted Notifier to Fight Against Phishing (30 March)
        *   Globalising Efforts to Mitigate DNS Abuse (31 March)
