Dear all,

The independent external review of the ICANN NomCom had been under way for
some time, and the draft final report is now available (attached).

Please note that the Review Team is organizing a webinar to disseminate
their recommendations (details below). Although the webinar time is not
particularly APAC-friendly, it is highly recommended that any of us who
have feedback should submit it to the review team (public comments are open
until 7 May 2018).

I am writing on behalf of Tom Barrett and Cheryl Langdon-Orr, the chair and
vice-chair of the NomCom Review Working Party (RWP).  As part of the
review, the RWP would like to make sure that the APRALO and its members are
aware of the progress of the NomCom review: The Draft Final Report

To provide greater details on the report, and to allow the ICANN community
to provide on-the-spot feedback or ask questions, the independent examiner,
Analysis Group, will hold a *webinar on Tuesday, 10 April, 20:00 UTC. *Details
of how to attend the webinar will be posted on the NomCom Review wiki
<https://community.icann.org/display/OR/Final+Report> and promoted via
social media channels. If you or any members of the APRALO would like to
receive a calendar invitation to the webinar, please contact
mssi-secretariat at icann.org.

Please feel free to share this information with the APRALO and its members.
