[APAC-Discuss] APRALO Application for new ALS and Individual Applications

Dear APRALO, 


We have an APRALO ALS application from Yemeni Organization for 
Development and Exchange Technology (YODET). 
I have summarized some of 
the main information here from their DD. Let me know if you require 
anymore information

"“Yemeni Organization for Development and Empowerment in Technology 
(YODET) is a nongovernmental non-profit organization (…) implementing 
its programs through a number of centers in several Yemeni governorates 
associated with partners (…) YODET was established in May 2015 and was 
officially licensed under registration number ( 15 م†42 ) issued on 
December 16, 2015 by the Ministry of Social Affairs.”

YODET is a nongovernmental organization (NGO) receiving funding from

nongovernmental sources, reliant upon a network of local partners to 
facilitate local activity




What is the primary source, or sources, of funding for your 
Organization? (if unfunded/entirely voluntary simply indicate 
“N/A”):International, regional and national grants.”




Has your organization set up any event, meeting, or real-life activity 
pertaining to Internet governance issues, or other issues related to the 
interests of individual users?




Yes




If yes, please provide examples:




YNEXT Project that provides internet hubs to journalists and rights 
activists in conflict zones.




d. Has your organization been active in international, regional or 
national Internet governance issues?

Yes




If yes, please provide examples:




Board Directors participated in Internet Governance Schools and Forums.”




We also have Two Individual Applicants, Hanan Khatib and Buddha Halder, 
are also awaiting APRALO Feedback. Please find their 2 applications 
attached here.
