No objection for the pilot. It seems to be reasonable considering the shorter time for policy forum especially.

Thanks for your feedback, Lianna.

I'll get back with the exact process of evaluation of the pilot after ALAC updates us on it.

Dear Satish,

I don't have strong objection to this approach especially if the pilot for us is only for ICANN59 and I'm not sure that majority of APRALO members will participate to this particular meeting.
But I'd like to know how the results of pilot will be resumed - is there any procedure decided for the evaluation?

Best,
Lianna

This is because many ALS representatives are usually available during ICANN meetings, and a face-to-face meeting with whoever is present in person (with the rest of the ALSes joining in by telephone/Adobe Connect as usual) is a good opportunity to discuss things in detail.

The pilot would run for two meetings: ICANN59 and ICANN60 (of course, for us ICANN60 is the General Assembly, so it wouldn't apply to us for ICANN60).

If we do not hear comments, we will assume that we are ok with going ahead with the pilot. I am sending this out right away because the deadline for our response is very short (2 May 2017).
