Dear APRALO members,

 

 

My appreciation goes to all those who supported current leadership team and
expressed their confidence in us to continue our roles to serve you all.

 

 

May 9 was the deadline for nominations/self-nominations, there was no other
candidates who put their names forward for the elections and all current
incumbents accepted their nominations and submitted their statements.

 

At the same time APRALO LT announced about the mentorship program which we
envisage to start from 2016 AGM (ICANN 57) and I have seen the following
people expressed their willingness to be a part of this new initiative:

 

1. Bikram Shrestha, ISOC Nepal

 

2. Nadira Alaraj, ISOC Palestine

 

3. Jahangir Hossain, ISOC Dhaka

 

4. Rahul Sharma, DSCI

 

5. Lianna Galstyan, ISOC Armenia

 

6. Aris Ignasio, ISOC Philippines

 

 

 

At least, these are the names who stated their interest via our mailing
list. If there are other people who would like to be a part of this process,
or I missed somehow, please, let us know and we will also come to you in
helping us shaping this strategy to understand your needs and capacities.

 

 

I thank once again for all of your support and looking forward to our
continuous fruitful cooperation. Do not forget that we have one of the next
planned ICANN meetings to be held in Abu Dhabi (ICANN 60), which is our
region, so this will be our milestone from now on to start working with more
commitment and devotion, engagement and cooperation.
