Proposed Action


During the September APRALO call, one of the follow up action was the
setting up a working group for the pilot framework. An immediate
contribution of the working group could be to work on the translation and
localization of ICANN materials, especially for ALSes located in underserved
regions and regions where English is not the language of choice. ICANN APAC
Hub has put together a specific set of materials that can be used for this
purpose. You can find more details here:

ation+Pilot+Project. During ICANN51, we hope to provide an update on the
pilot framework, as well as any progress on actions, in particular the
localization initiative.

 

If you are interested to carry on the work in finalizing the pilot framework
and/or on the implementation of the specific actions (on the language
localization initiative or otherwise), please do let us know by replying to
this email before 8 Oct (Wednesday).  Thank you and we look forward to your
