Dear APRALO Members,
You already received my e-mail related to the delegation of my vote as
APRALO Acting Chair to the Regional Secretary Pavan Budhani.
As per ALAC new rules and procedures we need to have a formal vote from our
RALO.As this is very late notification, at this stage we only can ask all
APRALO ALSs members, if there is ANY OBJECTIONS from the region for Pavan to
have this delegating authority.
I apologize for a very short notice, but we need to have the response from
ALSs within 24 hours from now, the latest March 15th, 23:00 UTC. 
Just to let you also know that Pavan's candidacy was agreed on consensus
basis by APRALO Executive Committee (Three ALAC members - Holly, Maureen and
Rafid), as well as myself as an Acting Chair, Fouad as Vice Chair and ICANN
NomCom 2014 Chair Cheryl Langdon-Orr).
This is a very important role for our internet users community, so, please,
if you have any objections to give Pavan this authority, just make your
voice heard. If no objections will be received within the given short
period, then we will send his name as a formal voting delegate from APRALO.
Once again, apologize for such a short notice.

    Dear Siranush,

    

    I have forwarded your note to Tijani Ben Jemaa who is the Chair of
    the Board Member Selection Process Committee (BMSPC). I have
    concerns that you are not able to do this. The procedure for
    selection a replacement was clearly explained in past calls and
    needs a formal vote of the RALO as per ALAC Rules of Procedure, so
    you will need to confirm that this has taken place. But I shall let
    Tijani & the BMSPC confirm/deny this.
