Subject:  Reminder - DOODLE / Whois briefing call


Dear All,
As requested by APRALO, an At-Large community briefing call on Whois is
being planned. This briefing call will include a brief background on Whois
as well as a review of the recommendations in the WHOIS Policy Review Team
Draft Report, especially on consumer trust, security, privacy and anonymity.
Guest speakers will be:
* Liz Gasster (Senior Policy Counselor, ICANN Policy Support) ­ Introduction
to Whois.
* Seth Reiss (At-Large representative to the Whois RT) ­ Review of the Whois
RT report.
* Jim Galvin (VC of the SSAC) ­ The concerns of the SSAC on Whois.
 This briefing call will provide information related to the public comment
on the WHOIS Policy Review Team Draft Report

en.htm>  that is open through 18 March 2012.
