Attached, please find three files.

The one named "original-sitemap" shows our current dismal state, with 10 tabs in our horizontal navigation, and a lot of cross-linking.

The one named "new-sitemap-ver08" is the rearrangement we propose for the new navigation.

The document entitled "Personas.doc" provides some of the rationale for the rearranged groupings. Our surveys and interviews identified certain ways users most commonly use the site; we want to make sure the most common uses are easy.

The color coding in the sitemaps requires some explanation. Green tiles represent links that take you off of ICANN.ORG to another domain. Orange tiles are links that produce a file (typically a PDF, but sometimes an MP3).
Blue tiles indicate cross-linked content, that appears to live in one place but actually belongs in another.

Please feel free to distribute these as you see fit. Anyone who wants to provide a thoughtful response about how ICANN.ORG should be organized will find these documents useful.
