Dear All,

Further to the opening of the call for nominations during the APRALO teleconference on 30-August-2011 and the receipt of a nomination during the call under Agenda Item 6, the APRALO membership is now advised that nominations for the role of APRALO Representative to the ALAC from 2011 - 2013 will remain open until 6-September-2011. Please note that any additional nominations should be forwarded to this list for consideration.

The timeline is as follows

 1.  Call for Nominations: The Regional Secretariat will make a call for nominations to the Discussion List no later than 31-August-2011.
 2.  Nomination Period: Nominations shall be accepted for one week after the Secretariat calls for nominations up to 6-September-2011.
 3.  Acceptance Deadline: The nominees need to accept their nomination no later than seven days after the nomination period ends 13-September-2011.
 4.  Vote Deadline: If a vote is required, the vote to select a representative shall begin no later than one week after the end of the acceptance deadline 14-September-2011 and end no later than 20-September-2011.
