I think if you read my comments carefully you 
will see there was no "direct allegation of the 
fairness of the poll".  I have tried to be 
careful to be rather indirect when making any 
suggestions: this is a sensitive situation and 
all my comments have been intended as suggestion 
not recommendation.

But I don't think you understand what I am trying 
to suggest. 12 ALS did not vote.  One of them 
seems to have had a problem during the poll 
period, as a result I have suggested how they 
would have voted might be considered.  And a way 
to do that might be to release the voters to vote 
as they think best.  How the other ALS might have 
voted, unless they noted problems with the vote 
process, is it not relevant, they missed the 
voting period (that's the nature of elections.)
