Avri and I have been talking about this (quite a lot more over the last
few days) and this will be discussed at the ALAC meeting later as well
as her GNSO Council one on Thursday... We plan to propose that this
group is expanded slightly and be morphed into the REQUIRED by Board
Resolution  JOINT ALAC-GNSO WG on the matter with a view to proposals
being on the 'table' the week BEFORE  the Sydney meeting so LOTS of work
and short time to do it...

RALO's and ALSes would be well advised to outreach to their community
members NOW to ascertain the  principals and particular views they wish
reflected in the Charter and then Drafted text resulting from WG
activities based on the WG Charter...

I've also asked staff to set up a Wiki 'Commons' for collaborative work
and commentary from At-Large and the wider ICANN and Non-ICANN community...
