Subject: [ALAC] Planning Prioritisation Framework V2
Dear ALAC members,

The Planning Prioritization Framework V2 is now published on the ICANN Finance and Planning Community wiki workspace here (Planning Prioritization Framework V2<https://community.icann.org/display/projfinadhocws/Planning+Prioritization+Framework>).

The pilot concluded in May 2022 on Board-approved Specific Review recommendations. The community participants in the pilot, including Cheryl Langdon-Orr and Jonathan Zuck, prioritized the list of recommendations in four meetings. We now have been requested to nominate members to the FY24 Planning Prioritization Group that will meet in September and October to provide input to ICANN org ahead of the publication of ICANN org’s Draft Operating Plan & Budget for FY24.

Given that the FY24 Prioritization exercise follows so soon after the conclusion of the pilot, after consultation with ICANN Org, I believe that the most effective and efficient manner of proceeding with the FY24 Prioritization exercise is to continue to rely on the same community members who participated in the pilot.

Based on their outstanding representation in the Prioritization, I would like to re-appoint Cheryl and Jonathan for the FY24 period.

If there is any strong opposition, please let me know by Friday, 19 August.
