DESIGN DEADLINE TOMORROW: ICANN71 Publication Support

Design Deadline
For publication design assistance, please provide all the text, images,
layout, and publication type/size requirements (i.e. newsletter, one-pager,
trifold, etc.) by Friday, 14 May 2021. Please keep in mind that all
materials, new or updated, must be evergreen. There is a maximum of two
design iterations per publication.

Translation-only Deadline
For translation, please provide the final material(s) by Friday, 21 May 2021.
This ensures that there is enough time to translate the publication. If the
publication requires design assistance, please note that
the final materials will have to be complete, including the edit/approval
process, by this deadline in order to be translated.

Please work directly with your support team to submit these requests to
evin.erdogdu at icann.org and liana.teo at icann.org.
NEW: Sign Up to Observe GNSO PDP to Review the Transfer Policy

The Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO) Council recently initiated
a two-phased policy development process (PDP) to review the Transfer
Policy, which will determine if changes to the policy are needed to improve
the ease, security, and efficacy of inter-registrar and inter-registrant
transfers.

The working group is now beginning its work, with its first meeting
scheduled for Friday, 14 May 2021. The working group welcomes observers.
Observers are subscribed to the mailing list on a read-only basis and may
attend meetings without participating. You may sign up as an observer at
any time by emailing gnso-secs at icann.org.

Supporting Organizations, Advisory Committees, and GNSO Stakeholder Groups
and Constituencies that did not nominate members to this PDP are strongly
encouraged to have least one observer to keeping their respective group
informed of milestones and potential recommendations.
NEW: Customer Standing Committee (CSC) Annual Elections

On 30 September 2021, the terms of several CSC members and liaisons will
expire. ICANN org will be requesting that appointing organizations initiate
their respective processes to appoint members and liaisons. ICANN org will
send a letter to all chairs, identifying CSC volunteers whose term expires.
Volunteers elected to the CSC serve a two-year term. Elections are held
annually, and appointments should be completed before the start of the next
term on 1 October. For more information, please contact csc-eoi at icann.org.
REMINDER: Participate in "ICANN Community Groups: An Introduction for
Newcomers"

The Public Responsibility Support team seeks speakers from ICANN
communities to participate in an
introductory session for newcomers. Each speaker will have five minutes to
provide an overview of
their ICANN community group. The session will take place Wednesday, 2 June
2021, 13:00-14:30 UTC.
