[ALAC] [ICANN Community Leaders] PLEASE READ - Stakeholders/Board interaction ICANN69 VIRTUAL

Hmm, I am not sure I agree JZ -- Although we did talk about regional
meetings at the end of our most recent input to the MSM question, there
are broader issues there that need to be brought out --  i.e continuing
the dialogue -- if Brian Cute is no longer doing it, who is now leading
this discussion;  restoring recruitment and demographics to the list of
issues; going beyond "low hanging fruit"; what are the chances of a
"holistic review" of structures and relations within ICANN, etc.. I
would see our MSM discussion with the board highlighting these more
closely aligned issues.

The pandemic related issues (regional meetings, better tech) are an
added layer, but if the pandemic ends tomorrow, we still have to address
those underlying issues .

Just my opinion

Marita
