[ALAC] [ICANN Community Leaders] PLEASE READ - Stakeholders/Board interaction ICANN69 VIRTUAL

Hi Jonathan and all

As the current discussion has demonstrated, Jonathan's intro sets the scene
for a great "fireside chat" with the Board about the important issues that
have evolved for our community as a result of the pandemic. We could have a
series of speakers organised to raise different issues during this
discussion including the impacts of the pandemic on the MSM - their chosen
topic - but to do so without the formal "them and us" format.

I could compile a list of speakers and topics already from this list. If we
give the topics to them beforehand, then they too may organise their own
speakers to address each issue raised - it would also encourage the
involvement of more Board members too. But we could do it more as a
conversation (but prepared so that we keep our questions short and to the
point and if they are given the questions beforehand, their responses can
also be more specific. However if there is a followup discussion on a
particular topic, we must be mindful of other participants waiting for
their turn in this "conversation"). What do you think?
