HI Vanda and all,
Joanna has been doing a fantastic job in the last 2 years no doubt about
that but I think we need to look at the  key criteria that would be used to
evaluate the candidates which are:

   - Participated in the ICANN community for a minimum of five years.
   - Served in multiple ICANN working groups or committees.
   - Collaborated significantly with more than one Supporting Organization (
   SO) or Advisory Committee (AC).

Based on my experience on a similar committee the first evaluation that
would be done would be to check if these key criteria are met, and once the
person does not meet them the application is automatically dropped.  I
think Joanna is currently doing a good job with our policy sessions and
deserve this type of award but I do not think she meets these criteria. My
suggestion is to look a person that meet the criteria and has equally
contributed to capacity building in the past.
