[ALAC] [CONFIDENTIAL] Special Recognition

Hi.

I think it would be great to recognise Dev.
Nominating him for the Ethos award is good, but pls don’t rely on that
alone as you may not have control of the outcomes. The At-Large needs its
own recognition/award that it can give to exemplary leaders like Dev, and
you can do the recognition in your own space (eg., during your usual
meeting with the Board or when you have your meetings with the CEO and or
Board Chair) so that you don’t have to fight over time and resources within
the ICANN system and structure.

In sum: do a two pronged approach - nominate Dev for ethos and have an
At-Large recognition mechanism as well.

He totally deserves it. And you want to encourage others in the community
to step up like Dev did so that it is not a one off.
