WHAT HAPPENED THIS WEEK?
Overview
· The EPDP Team received a total of 42 unique submissions on its Initial Report. Nine ICANN community groups commented on the Initial Report, including Supporting Organizations, Advisory Committees, and Stakeholder Groups and Constituencies in the Generic Names Supporting Organization (GNSO). In addition, 33 submissions came from external companies and organizations, as well as individuals.

Risk
The EPDP team started the process of reviewing public comments. The input received, and proposals can be diverging and/or bringing proposals already discussed. The EPDP team faces the challenge to review all comments, give them due consideration and resolving contentions and open issues within a tight schedule and without slack time. The F2F meeting is a critical milestone regarding the comments review and report amendments. Any delay in those deliberations will impact the timeline.
