Interesting Public Comment on Verisign request to release O.COM.

The interesting part is that they propose to auction off the single 
character domain "O" (a single character that is known to have 
demand) and donate the proceeds to one or more non-profits. 
The  specific non-prifits are not named in the public documents, but 
the implication is that the funds might be used "to benefit the 
Internet community in general."
