My congrats and regards to Judith as well as you, Glenn for bringing some
well-needed energy to this issue.
We are closely following this initiative because of the possibility
adoption of this technology would be for not only the handicapped but the
wider range of underserved users in the global south.
It maybe time out of memory but for those who've been around for the
discussions about reaching the next billion, we agreed radio would be a
very important channel to spread the word on names and numbers regulation
and governance. Dev has been promoting captioning as a means since. Good
to see the fight taken up by others...and the convergence that makes for a
better solution to emerge.
