Folks,

I have now had a chance to read the Final Declaration from The 2nd At-Large Summit (ATLAS II).  What an impressive piece of work!  It’s quite obvious there was extensive organization and preparation ahead of time and that everyone worked diligently throughout the Summit.

The Recommendations and Observations cover a lot of ground.  We understand the Declaration is now going through its public comment period, and I am sure there will be plenty of discussion.  I expect this will be an important part of the interactions with the ICANN Board during the meeting in October.

On behalf of the ICANN Board I congratulate everyone who took part in the Summit.  At our next Board meeting in early September we will pass a formal resolution acknowledging your hard work and our receipt of the Declaration.
