FYI,

A letter from the International Committee of the Red Cross was sent 
to the ICANN Board and senior staff.

The letter is asking the Board for permanent protection (instead of 
what the Board has done to date, provide protection pending the 
completion of the GNSO PDP) and adds the names of 189 national 
societies (in English and their official natural languages). They are 
also re-surfacing the strings-contained(RedCross-tsunami) and 
confusingly similar (RedKross) at both the top level (controversial 
but easy to implement) and 2nd level (almost impossible to implement).
