[ALAC] ALAC Endorsement of ATRT2 Candidates

Indeed, as a matter of finding consensus, is there anyone here who has
any*objection
*to Olivier's name being on the list of ALAC-endorsed candidates?

I would add my name to the endorsements of Olivier, and I would like to
further nominate and recommend the addition of Jean Jacques as an endorsed
candidate. While Jean Jacques indicated in the recent ALAC call that he
might not put himself forward as a candidate if Olivier was interested, I
would still suggest his name be added as well for two reasons:

   - Recall that we have nothing to do with the final selection which is
made jointly by the chairs of the GAC and the ICANN Board. Any ranking we
do would be informational only, and is explicitly not binding on the final
selection. So it is a good idea to put forward multiple people who meet the
criteria and have indicated an interest to serve. It is not a competition
in which we have any substantive say on the outcome.

   - This time around it is possible that more than one ALAC representative
could be added to the ATRT, so we are doing ourselves a potential
disservice if we don't put forward enough qualified candidates. Indeed, the
public interest would be incredibly well served IMO should *both* Olivier
and Jean-Jacques be called to serve.

Jean Jacques, would you please reconsider your position not to stand if
Olivier indicated his interest?

- Evan
