Dear all,
Please have a look to this exchange.
I think it is a good point for any interaction with board members.
All the best

I support fully Adams appraoch. The ALAC should send a formal
resoluton/request to the Board so that there is a legal basis for
interaction which would go beyond "small talk" and "nice words". AL has to
buil on what it has achieved and this is good for ICANN as a whole in the
stormy post JPA days.

This be a good subject for us to discuss with the
board. Sébastien, has the excom discussed issues
we will want the board to hear about? Don't we
usually prime them so the 2 or 3 members they
send have some preparation?

I would specifically ask them how have the Summit
documents (recommendations, ideas, etc) have been
received by the board, do they have comments or
questions? Have any comments been taken onboard
in some way?

I am not sure of other specific questions, but
one should be about how the Summit was a
significant investment of resources for ICANN and
At Large. How does the board see the work of the
Summit continuing, do they recognize it as more
than a one-off effort?

I am quite keen to hear how the see the Summit
and enlarged, more engaged at large as
representative of the public interest in ICANN.
And how if it the success of the Summit we build
on, it could help ICANN in terms of
representation and accountability to the notion
of the public interest. i.e. JPA related issues.

I am sure there's a few more we could add. Does this make sense?

Best,

Adam
