<p><strong>25 May 2017</strong> – The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) today launched three new websites for the Empowered Community.</p>

<p>The Empowered Community is the mechanism through which ICANN's Supporting Organizations and Advisory Committees can organize under California law to legally enforce community powers. The community powers and governance rules are defined in ICANN's Articles
