[ALAC-Announce] Announcement of Erich Schweighofer as ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the European Region

Dear All,

On behalf of Maureen Hilyard, Chair of the ALAC, we would like to announce that the ALAC has voted to appoint Erich Schweighofer as the ALAC Delegate to the NomCom from the European Region for the year beginning at ICANN 63 and ending at ICANN 66.

Many apologies for the delay in announcing the result of the ALAC vote. This was an oversight by At-Large staff support.

Erich and the NomCom Operations Team were informed of his appointment in 19 September, the day following the closure of the vote.

The ALAC had previously appointed the following NomCom Delegates:

  *   Aziz Hilali<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/Aziz+HILALI+SOI> - African Region
  *   Nadira Al-Araj<https://community.icann.org/x/hwrfAw> - Asian, Australasian and Pacific Islands Region
  *   Tracy Hackshaw<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/Tracy+Hackshaw+SOI> - Latin American and Caribbean Islands Region
  *   Leah Symekher<https://community.icann.org/display/atlarge/Leah+Symekher+SOI> - North American Region
