ICANN54 Approaches

In a few days the ICANN community will gather in Dublin, Ireland for ICANN54. Ongoing discussions about the IANA Stewardship Transition and the Enhancing ICANN Accountability effort will dominate the meeting, but the work of our Support Organizations and Advisory Committees continues.

The ASO, GNSO, ALAC, and GAC will have several days of full schedules, beginning with a busy weekend of preparatory and substantive sessions. On Wednesday, the RSSAC will brief the community<http://icann.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=818d573897ed5ea25ee71ebc1&id=26b4b35e14&e=3f16341216> on its most recent report, and the GNSO Council<http://icann.us3.list-manage1.com/track/click?u=818d573897ed5ea25ee71ebc1&id=83b772ae1f&e=3f16341216> and ccNSO Council will have their public meetings<http://icann.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=818d573897ed5ea25ee71ebc1&id=1bc832e509&e=3f16341216>. The SSAC public meeting<http://icann.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=818d573897ed5ea25ee71ebc1&id=e318aea65e&e=3f16341216> is scheduled for Thursday.

ICANN54 will also serve as our Annual General Meeting, marking the beginning of terms for several new community leaders. For community leaders who are ending their terms, a Community Recognition Program<http://icann.us3.list-manage.com/track/click?u=818d573897ed5ea25ee71ebc1&id=69a1d855f3&e=3f16341216> is planned to recognize their contributions on Thursday, 22 October preceding the Public Forum.
