[ALAC-Announce] Expanded purview of Ad Hoc group on the IANA Stewardship Transition.

The At-Large Ad hoc work group looking at the IANA Stewardship 
Transition has had its mandate expanding to include ICANN 
Accountability. During ALAC discussions in Singapore, it was felt 
that the membership of the original group and those interested in 
Accountability would overlap greatly, and the thought of having two 
separate meetings to discuss the issues was not very appealing.

The group was initially created to provide guidance to the ALAC 
representatives on the IANA Stewardship Transition Coordinating 
Cgroup (ICG) and the IANA Stewardship Transition Cross-community WG 
(CWG). It will now also provide guidance to the ALAC representatives 
on the ICANN Accountability CCWG.

The name of the group will likely be changed, but regardless, there 
is a meeting currently being scheduled and all those who are not 
already participating may like to consider doing so.

The mailing list associated with the work group is IANA-ISSUES. If 
you wish to participate and are not already a  member, you can sign

There is a Doodle for a meeting to be scheduled this coming week at: 
http://doodle.com/q3aemi9t3yh6pq4g. The current plan is to allocate 
the first 45 minutes to the transition, and the last 45 minutes to 
accountability.
